A speaking examiner, whenever you’re ready

The virtual examiner asks you questions in French, answers in role, and ends the task on time. Afterwards you get the transcript, a score for each criterion and an NCLC estimate.

Practice estimate, not an official score. Your real result may differ. The examiner is an AI. It doesn’t replace an official examiner and doesn’t know the real test topics.

How it works

  1. Take a series or a task

A timer, one play per recording and 39 questions from A1 to C2, as in the test.

  2. Get an honest correction

An NCLC range, criteria scored out of 20, and corrections explained in your language.

  3. Work on what matters

Each day, a short plan that targets the skill furthest from your goal.

Questions

Are the topics real TCF Canada topics?
No. All our topics and documents are original, written for practice on the same everyday themes. We never publish “real topics”.
Is the score I see my official score?
No. It’s a practice estimate, always shown as a range. Your real result may differ.
How does the virtual examiner work?
You speak while holding a button (or tap to start and tap to stop), and the examiner answers in French. At the end you get the transcript, a score for each criterion and an NCLC estimate.
Can I get explanations in English?
Yes. Explanations are available in French, English, Hindi, Vietnamese and Chinese. Topics and model answers stay in French.
Does the pass renew?
No. Every pass is a one-time payment and never renews. Full refund within 7 days of purchase if you have used fewer than 5 AI grades.
